Interfaith Career Network (ICN) is a fellowship of men and women with a common desire to become employed or seek career advancement through a Christian forum. Our purpose is to prepare and enable individuals to successfully complete their job search by finding meaningful employment in a timely manner.

The ICN invites you to join us when the First Presbyterian Church of La Grange will host their Fall five-week Career Transition Boot Camp beginning Tuesday evening, September 20, 2016 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Whether you are looking for a change in jobs, making a career switch, unemployed, under-employed, or a recent grad looking for that first position, this five-week workshop is for you!
FPCLG is located at 150 South Ashland Avenue. The meetings will be held in Westminster Hall. Please enter the church on Catherine Avenue.

Our speaker, Steve Grosskopf, will cover important interviewing skills such as presenting yourself, researching the company, understanding the interview process and what recruiters won't tell you during the interview. Other issues Steve will address include how do you practice interview questions, what to wear to an interview, questions YOU ask during the interview and what do you do after the interview. Steve has over a decade of experience in many facets of human resources including recruiting and finding people jobs. He is the founder of Gobie, a career services firm; it is their passion to assist in your career no matter which stage you are in – making a career switch, new grad, young professional, established executive.
