Mission Statement/History	Welcome to our church! Whether you are a first time visitor or an old friend, we hope that you will find the information you are looking for. As you get to know us, you will find that we are a group of everyday people who are in the wonderful adventure of learning and growing in Jesus Christ. In Jesus we have found comfort for the past, joy in the present and hope for tomorrow. At First Baptist Church you will find a warm community that strives to exhibit the love of Christ to all that we meet. Our doors are open to all, regardless of where they come from. In this adventure, to which God has called us, we strive to learn and live the 4 R's; that we may be: Real, Relevant, Relational and Risk-Taking. In this day and age, when there are so many pressures forced upon us by the world around us, we invite you to come and find a home and a family that can share those burdens. Come and join us as we seek to spread the word of the love and life found in Christ Jesus. In 2007 we are looking to the word of Micah 6:8 as we seek to serve the community God has called us to: "What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?". Our deep desire is to reach out with the love of Christ to all people and help them find and follow Jesus. I personally invite you to come along with us on this great adventure.
